A few audacious ideas

January 27, 2012 Leave a comment

HBR has a nice article on some audacious ideas on how to change the world. They’re broken up into four categories – world economy, science challenges, social problems and business problems. The ones that caught my eye (that are relevant for this blog):

  • Stop Collecting Customer Data – Doc Searls. Goes against everything that companies do with sales, marketing data. He also has a book, The Intention Economy,  in the works that seems worth checking out.
  • Crowdsource Management Reviews – Linda A. Hill and Kent Lineback. Essentially public feedback from all employees.

Worth a read. Let me know if you need the article.
