What consumers really want online

HBR has an interesting study that sheds light into that age old question – What do consumers really want online?

It turns out most of the fluffy stuff that marketers actually think customers care about (e.g. “feel connected/part of a community”) are not the items on top of customers’ actual list. What they care about most is to get enough information to help make a decision.
